In Romanian: Friganele
- 12 slices (½ inch / 1 cm thick) of baguette
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons lard
- Beat the egg, add the milk, sugar and a little salt.
- Moisten the bread slices and fry on both sides in hot lard.
- Serve with Green Beans with Butter.
