  • 12 slices (½ inch / 1 cm thick) of baguette
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons lard
  • salt

Directions Edit

  1. Beat the egg, add the milk, sugar and a little salt.
  2. Moisten the bread slices and fry on both sides in hot lard.
  3. Serve with Green Beans with Butter.
